Fulfills Promise He Made To His Father When He Was Only 8 Years Old

A man from Louisville KY promised his dad he would buy him a '57 Chevy on his 57th birthday. The son, Mike King, was only 8 years old when he made this promise to his father, but managed to keep his word.

Mike wrote on reddit Friday about how his dad had always dreamed of owning a 57' Bel-Air, and explained how he had worked over time for years at the factory where he was employed to finally be able to purchase this car for his dad. He had kept it hidden in his garage for two years, waiting for his Father to turn 57. 

In the mean time he would show pictures of the vehicle to his father and talk about how cool it would be to drive one, keeping it a secret that he had purchased one already.
