Chevrolet is partnering with Manchester United — in more than one way.

Whether you call it football or soccer, it is the beautiful game that unites the world. With supporters that sing loudest when their teams need it most, the lifeblood of football is its fan community. Chevrolet is proud to be a part of the community that lives for the game.

As Official Automotive Partner of Manchester United, Chevrolet wants to unite supporters around the world. We are putting the fans first in this partnership, developing unique, once-in-a-life time opportunities to bring United supporters closer to their team and give back to the game they love.
The five-year sponsorship commences this summer with the Chevrolet China Cup, a series of friendly matches that will bring the heroes of Manchester United to play in front of their dedicated supporters in China.
Starting in the 2014-2015 season, Chevrolet will be the shirt sponsor of the most popular football team in the world. This deepens a magnificent partnership between Manchester United and Chevrolet.

In the meantime, all around the globe, Chevrolet will give away 1.5 million One World Futbols over the next three years. These ultra-durable footballs will go to impoverished areas, conflict zones and refugee camps, so that children around the world can unite around the game. You too can get involved by buying and donating these balls to kids in need.

Don't Worry, The US Still Has a Great Chance of Making it to Round 16 of the World Cup!

Although most of us feel a little down after that last minute draw with Portugal on Sunday, we are by NO MEANS out!  The United States is currently tied with Germany in group G, who we will play next.

This means that if we WIN or tie against Germany, we will move forward to the knock out round!

If there was some sort of fluke that made us lose to Germany (which WILL NOT happen!!) then things get dicey and we rely on the Portugal Ghana match to see if we can still advance, as well as the total number of goals scored in the World Cup by the two teams. If the total goals scored is equal between us and Ghana, we advance since we beat them 2-1 in our head to head match.

This has been your Terry Labonte Chevrolet World Cup update for making round 16! USA! USA! USA!
